The Cascade Training Center Provides all levels of Basic through Advanced American Heart Association resuscitation training to Highline Community College students and employees/faculty of Highline Community College at our Seattle and Tacoma Training Centers.

These courses include Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Initial and Renewal certification courses, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Initial and Renewal certification courses, Healthcare Provider CPR training, Introduction to ECG and Pharmacology Courses, Airway Management curriculums, and lay rescuer First Aid, CPR, AED courses. Other courses offered in Seattle, WA include Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) and Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support.

CPR courses specifically for Nursing, Radiology Technician and Respiratory Therapy students (American Heart Association CPR for Healthcare Provider) are offered up to 6 times a week and participants are issued their certification card on site immediately following the course.

All courses are available to the public as well as students/employees of Highline Community College . Other healthcare and lay rescuer courses are offered by the Cascade Training Center at other local hospitals and regional Training Operation Centers. All ACLS, PALS and CPR courses are official American Heart Association courses. Upon successful course completion, an AHA certification card is issued on site immediately following the course at the course location. AHA credentials are valid for two years.
