The Cascade Training Center Provides all levels of Basic through Advanced American Heart Association resuscitation training to Swedish employees (Physicians, Nurses, Radiology, Respiratory, Assistants, Technologists, Technicians and Allied Clinicians/Practitioners) as well as non-employee healthcare providers at all Swedish Campuses.

Swedish employees should contact their unit/floor Manager or education department for Employee registration information. Swedish clinics or specific departments may have private courses scheduled specific to their location. This clinic location does not have courses available to the public. Click on the “Course Registration” link to see a complete list of upcoming courses with information about locations, cost, and duration at other Swedish locations or at locations in close proximity.

These courses include Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Initial and Renewal certification courses, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Initial and Renewal certification courses, Healthcare Provider CPR training, Introduction to ECG and Pharmacology Courses, Airway Management curriculums, Advanced Cardiac Life Support – Experienced Provider and lay rescuer First Aid, CPR, AED courses.

All ACLS, PALS and CPR courses are official American Heart Association courses. Upon successful course completion, an AHA certification card is issued on site immediately following the course at the course location. AHA credentials are valid for two years.

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in BLS, ACLS and PALS and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the American Heart Association. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course material, do not represent income to the Association.
